>Kevin claims to me privately that it was definitely not him. I don't now what technical data Michel is looking at, but I would be astounded if Kevin were actually behind this ( though I could believe he had made an enemy of someone technically astute enough to pull it off. )

Yes, I was as well, more on this one as this is not the first time his account had been involved in this situation.

More detailed information can been seen in my reply to Bonnie.

Well, if I wouldn't have had enough evidences, I would have had to look it up at the enemy level and do a more detailed analysis. That one would have taken me a week. But, I didn't have to go that far. As far as his PC and the ability for an enemy to put him in trouble, I cannot tell. But, in my reply to Bonnie, I mentioned that it would have been very hard for someone to know exactly when one browser was stopping the session for a few minutes and switch to another window in Terminal Server to do 5 to 8 minutes hits on the other account and back and forth several times with a very accurate precision. Basically, it would have involved that not only one of his enemy, if he has one or more, would have taken over in PC while he was at hit, but would have gotten some kind of aptitude to read his mind.

Remember, people with a very high profile, status, recognition and technical skills, just to name a few, have been those, at 85%, that have been involved in the worst situations on this site since its 18th years of existence. Someone will a lesser recognized image would probably mostly be tempted to avoid those situations as he/she might assume he/she would be the first one to be targeted at being involved in such situations.

>But even if it were an ill considered joke on his part that had gotten out of hand, I would definitely have expected him to come forward at the point Michel offered an honorable out. I'm sure Michel expected that as well, as he thought it was Kevin.

I gave it a 50/50 chances I would have received a message. But, then, up to that level, one has to think for himself/herself as to know if it would be better to continue to claim that he/she is not involved or go online and simply say so. Some members were professional enough to do so in the recent years, some others didn't.

>I am sorry Michel has to waste time on this kind of stuff, and I admire the patience he shows in dealing with this kind of completely unnecessary and unproductive distraction, but in this case I'd be very surprised if Kevin were actually the person responsible.

...considering I was suppose to be on a 3-day weekend break and have a lot of work to do around the house. But, thanks for the comment, this is a very good point.

>I hope Michel and Kevin can speak privately and perhaps get to the bottom of it. Not having Kevin here would be a great loss to the UT.

Yes, exactly the same comment I received from other members when it happened before. But, it has to stop. I just cannot continue to give chances to be back online and after a year or two, end up in the same situation again.
