Maybe it is time to poll a survey as to know if members of this site would be able to live without the Chatter forum and the Chatter category in each of the forum. As, this is like opening the possibility for members with bad intentions to cause trouble at this site. There are several items related to it. The political debate is often in the middle of those "chicanes". The prime objectif of the site is to offer a technical support engine. What if we drop this once and for all. Do you think the site would be better?

I think UT is only one forum where Chatter and off-topic threads are still allowed. I think it's a good thing and something many regulars are looking forward to. I am personally only subscribed for a few categories in Chatter (humor, Sports, etc.) and to read the rest I only check once or twice during the day using the Calendar button.
