>>Hi,

>>Say I have a table with a char column that is set to accept NULLs. Then, from VFP using CA, I save a new record or update an existing record and the value in this column sent from VFP is zero-length string (basically empty string). The SQL Server then sets the value in this field to NULL. Do I understand that for SQL Server a zero-length string is not an entry that should be "considered" and therefore SQL Server sets the value to NULL?

Then I must be doing something wrong. I will recheck to make sure that I do send empty string. Thank you.
