I haven't even read the replies to your thread yet. Judging from the names in the thread tree I could probably write them myself. Please take some good advice from a fellow conservative that there is no point in going out of your way to provoke our distinguished liberal progressive colleagues. You aren't going to convince them. It's just wasted time and bandwidth.

To state the obvious, I have done the same thing many times. It's only recently that I realized how pointless it is. Just trying to compress your aggravation curve.

Personally I enjoy your posts. They are thoughtful and impassioned, which is always to the good. Don't expect to change anyone's political thinking here, that's all. That's probably true of American society as a whole IMO. We are really polarized and dug in.
