>I think this guy is toast. James Carville nailed it. His "it's the economy stupid" will come back to haunt the dems this time. I agree about them all being liars, or at least they all twist things to fit their position. Even so, the dems are killing us right now. I think it's time to let the repubs have a shot at it. Gas prices would drop to Bush era prices (under $2.00 per gallon) if they just entered legislation to allow drilling in this country. Instead, they want $10.00 per gallon gas....
I'm up for a true fiscal conservative to emerge. Right now, the only Republican candidate that tells the damn truth is Ron Paul! The rest of them give those mind-numbingly circular b.s. politician answers to every question they're asked. Everyone except Ron Paul. Listen to him answer these questions:

I point out Bachmann because she reminds me of Palin. Palin used to flat out lie, then get called on the lie, evade answering getting called on the lie, then repeat the friggin' lie verbatim the following week. Sorry, I don't want a pathological liar in the white house. All politicians are liars, but when a politician gets caught with a mouth full of b.s. I expect them to wash it out and not repeat it.
I don't think McCain could have won in 2008 regardless, but he could have made the race a hell of a lot closer with a better VP pick.
