What is happening here?!?

Sometimes i get an error "Invalid call issued while executing a SQLEXEC()". SQLGETPROP(nHandle,'BatchMode') return .T.

In the INIT() event of a form i have several SQLEXEC's. Since i migrated form SQL Server 6.5 to 7.0 one of the cursors does not exist.
If i change the order in which the SQLEXEC's are executed a different cursor does not exist???????
So if i try a certain SQLEXEC() in my command window everything is works fine: the cursor (contains one record) is created.
If i run a form where a copy of that SQLEXEC() is executed the cursor is not created and SQL Server did not leave an error (with AERROR()).
If i suspend just before the SQLEXEC() in my form is executed and i issue the SQLEXEC() in my command window the cursor is not created. If i issue that same SQLEXEC() again (arrow up, Enter) the cursor IS created?!?!?!!?

Could someone tell me what is happening here??

Thanks in advance for any anwer.
