>>>I;m curious if there is any way to re-open the SCX file when the file is already open. Also I wanted to know if you have selected text in a method during design time, is there a way to determine what text you have selected. I know how to get the currently selected object your working on, but I can't see a way to get a hold of the selected text.

Wouldn't it be nice if while you were modifying a method in a form you could just click on the method name and it would jump to the other method. I have something that is working, but I am forced to use a macro that issues a Ctrl-c than runs a program that looks at _CLIPTEXT.

I don't use SourceSafe, I guess it allows multi-user access to a project. I cannot imagine situation where someone would need to open two sessions of the same file in form designer. If you want to look at different code snippets, you can open them together in the same session. I have never heard about hyperlinks in VFP. It's my personal assumption that hacking scx/vcx/frx files should be reasonbly justified just to avoid unnecessary file corruptions.
