>Sure did. How's your VFP gig going?
Really fun. I am very comfortable with VFE /.SQL: survery project rescue as that and mentoring VFE developers was the primary source of my income for 7 or 8 years. It had been at least three years since I had done any VFP work, but still remember how to analyze business processes and that means more than any language specific issues. This app needed a lot of the plumbing fixed and the business logic separated out and organized and enhanced and that is a skill that carries through.
And the opportunity to work at home on an RCA locked VPN for this kind of company is kind of unique, so I'm very appreciative of the opportunity.
Regular paychecks are sort of a novelty, but I think I will grow to like that . <g>
Which part of the world are you in now? I just saw John Koziol decided not to head NZ way next week?

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
