>My one and only complaint about my girlfriend is no matter where we go, I can expect to be there forever. She doesn't seem comfortable leaving a store before examining every last piece of merchandise. Whereas moi, to steal a line from Dan Freeman, don't go shopping, I go buying -- in and out in a flash. The worst was our visit to the Art Institute downtown. She is an artist (has some stuff on exhibit at a fabrics exhibition in NYC now) so maybe that explains it. But OMG, that was painful. I have been there many times and am generally in and out in an hour or two. Uh uh. We were there for hours. Then when I thought I was going to breathe fresh air again she wanted to "pop into" the gift shop, which was another half hour.

Its easier if you get interested. Anything can be absorbing if you look into it in great detail.
Personally I can never get interested in cars.
