Happy 4th to you as well.

Hot dog eating contests is a pastime that has always escaped me. I may not be Mr. Rabbit Food but can't imagine ingesting that much junk on purpose. It was surprising to read the other day that former Northwestern cornerback and current sports reporter Rick Telendar routinely eats 9-12 hot dogs in the White Sox radio booth. I interviewed him on the radio when I was in college. He went out of his way to be an entertaining guest, for example trashing Ohio State. (Some things don't change).
