Maybe I am wrong, but how can you make the sourcecontrol of a combobox a variable? An Array possibly? Otherwise in my opinion if you have a variable as rowsource of a combobox you have 1 entry only. Something basicly wrong with Douglas' code, like Tamar pointed it is hard to say what he is doing.
