How about adding a call to a function from the rule off all the fields.

The function could check the view with CURSORGETPROP to see what is happening...

It will get you close.

Of course, rules are called when the fields value is changed, it doesn't wait for a table update.

Unless of course, you have a view with rules, then created a view of that view with no rules. Then when you did a table update of the view without rules, it would call the rules in the underlying view.
