Some regulation is always going to be necessary. I don't know about you, but I want the government to make sure that the meat that lands in supermarkets is fit for human consumption. I also want them to make sure that workers are given necessary safety equipment, and enough opportunity to rest to do their jobs safely (think airline pilots, say).
Whenever someone suggests that businesses need no regulation, I like to remind them of this:
