For some reason my ADB (Android Debugging Bridge) ran afoul with Eclipse. Even restarting the computer didn't fix it.

So I launched IntelliJ IDEA and it connects to my emulator just fine.

Plus, it's not quite as rich (ie a Hog of an) an IDE as Ecplise, so on my ancient laptop the thing actually responds well.

I'm liking it. Thanks for the tip!
