1. Yes, that's true. VFP doesn't have Row as an object (although you may simulate it with the SCATTER NAME command) and Column's object

2. Mostly because they never worked with VFP or worked with FoxPro for DOS long time ago. But in any case, you can just ignore these comments and concentrate on learning .NET
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
