>He is getting us out of Iraq. It's not happening right away, in accordance with the views of the military, but we are already phasing out and have far fewer troops there than we did before. Same with Afghanistan. How you manage to see him as the warmonger compared to Bush, I can't imagine.

>Mike, Mike, Mike. I hate to confuse you with the facts, but when Bush left office there were 40,000 troops in Afghanistan. Now there are 100,000 troops there. When Bush left office we were not interfering in a civil war ibn Libya. I do not know how many troops we have in Libya now.

>Face it. The annointed one is a liar.

You are technically correct. At the moment there are more soldiers in Afghanistan than there were when Obama took office. I apologize for the misstatement of fact.

The reason is the troop surge, which was not Obama's idea. He says they will be withdrawn by the end of next year. If they aren't, THEN he will be a liar.

It mystifies me how people can say anything and everything is Obama's fault. If you want to say his political views are more liberal than yours, fine, no problem. But look in the mirror honestly and ask yourself if you think he is looking to fight wars all over the place. Or that the economy was humming along like a mighty engine and he is the one who messed it up. Please understand I am not trying to blame the great recession on Bush. As I have said before, Presidents have far less power than some think. I think Bush did his best and I think Obama is doing his best to right the ship. Let's just leave the blind partisanship out of it.
