A major change has been done in the Universal Thread.

The concept of being at the right place at any time without the need to change section has been implemented.

In your personal information, I've put the default section for everyone to Visual FoxPro and I've put the scanned sections to Visual FoxPro as well.

The default section is used to tell the section which default section you want when posting a new message or doing a search.

The scanned sections represent all those sections that you want to be part of when reading new messages.

So, for example, in my case, I have chosen a few scanned sections so everytime I will login, I'll be able to see all the new messages for all those sections at the same time ordered by sections+categories.

That's why there is no need to change section anymore. Also, this will speed up the system and will avoid having a login for each system because the Universal Thread is now using a Universal login for all those section. Which mean there is now only one date/time saved for your last login instead of one for each section.

Since we are now able to see multiple sections at the same time, if you decide to add more than one, this will help to get other sections started and have more trafic ended up with more chances of having answers for your questions.

Some minor changes here and there has already been implemented and some other changes will follow again tomorrow.

So, for those of you only having used Visual FoxPro section in the past won't see any difference. Those of you having worked with two or more sections will certainly like this new way or work which will give you an overall look, always up to date, of those entire sections and will save you some time.

There might be some minor fix that may need to be done in a few places. I made a lot tonight and may have forgotten a few here and there. Just keep me inform and I'll fix them asap.
