Doing things in a way that allows easy maintenance is not the norm. At least that's my experience. It isn't just javascript. That's why all my conference presentations now are on how to do things "right".
>I would like to shoot developers that put all that JS in their HTML. What is worse is some of the frameworks that inject all that JS in html files. I always separate my JS into a .js file and include that file into my HTML. Makes life much easier. The more I work with JS and jquery the more I like it.
