Yes, converting that was a bit tricky. But I'm wondering why BOL doesn't show that syntax at all, but shows straight updates?

I posted a request for more documentation as I think it's absolutely not clear from BOL that this kind of syntax is needed. I can understand it's needed for regular varbinary(max) fields.
