i am trying to create an excel file by first filling in the information as a dbf table then renaming the file .xls
two problems i am having:
1 - where i have created a hyperlink in one of the dbf fields - when i open the file in xls the information is there but not as a hyperlink. i must first pass my cursor over the cell for it to transform. is there a way for this information to display as a hyperlink without this manoeuver??
=(HYPERLINK(" http://mysamplesite here.html"))

2) the excel file that is created is a version 97-03 version - is there a way to create a later version - i have 2010 installed on my c9omputer. perhaps it is tied with the vfp9 i am running.
