I vaguely remembered someone saying something about creating a WP macro to see what was going on. I tried that yesterday, and while editng found a feature which shows the WP commands. Those seem to correlate to the commands you give VFP. It looks to me like this is what I was looking for. Still I always appreciate hints:)

I also started playing around with accessing the VFP database from the WP side, and found myself wondering whether it's better to do the merge from that side or the VFP side. I suppose it depends on the situation.
