what I wanted to know is if you have a DE created at design time and wish to add a cursor to that or do you want to instantiate a DE

anyway, what I do is as follows
I have a property in my form that holds the DE name to instantiate
and a propery that will hold the DE instance
the form load event instantiate a DE and attached it to that property
the DE is defined programatically (actually it is extracted from a form)
