I bought the book at the So. Cal. VFP Conference in August and I have read it cover to cover twice. It is definitely aimed at an expericed programmer that is pretty much up to speed with the latest and greatest. The content covers a lot of ground. OTOH, if you are looking for line by line excruciating detail you won't find it. The book assumes a fair amount of knowledge and teaches through the World Wide Shoes example rather than volumes of text. As always, there are the inevitable typos and bugs but not at an intollerable level.

IMHO, it would make a valuable addition to your library.
