From the
class browser, you can certainly drag controls onto a form or class, as long as you do not drag onto a grid.
I have found that you can drag a control into a column, if you have first selected another control in the same column (the header or any other control). Curiously, it can drop it anywhere on the grid, and it goes into the same column as the object you had selected.
Also, it does NOT work to select the column you want to drop it into; that creates an obscure error message. (I think this is correctable)
