Actually, it's me-Drop from class browser into a class being edited. The way to drag from the class browser is so counterintuitive that I had to learn it by sheer effort, and I think I memorized it after being puzzled a dozen times.

The trick is that you can't drag from the treeview. Class browser was written long ago, and there was no way to drag a single node, I guess, or it was too complicated to do back then. So instead of that you select your class in the treeview and then (drums...) drag the icon of the class which appears in the top left corner, to the left of the filter combo. You drop that into the visual class or form that you're editing and voila.

Except I can't make it work for grids :). Anyway, we have all tamed grids this way or another. My way is to define my grids in code. My other way (when I'm not working alone) is to get an object reference to the grid I'm editing and do most of the manipulation with that reference - just another half-baked builder - which includes adding any custom controls and discarding the text1. Because I once knew the key/mouse sequence to add a custom control to a grid column, and it just wouldn't stay in my head.
