>>Just looked at Sony's site. Do you have the Touch or the Pocket edition ? Touch screen looks good but I see the 6" is quite a bit more expensive than the Kindle. Also don't see much on the download options : is there any inbuilt WiFi or 3G connection?

>I have the 6" touch. I have to admit though, I don't use touch for turning pages. I do use it for everything else. It has no inbuilt connectivity (other than USB). You have to use your PC to download using the Reader software and as long as your Reader is hooked up, everything is sent automatically to the Reader. I don't find that to be an issue. I don't recall a time out and about when I felt a need to download a book.

As mentioned elsewhere the ability to have a daily paper downloaded automatically pretty much anywhere I happen to be was a major factor for me.

By coincidence I've just read a review of EBook devices in Which? (A UK consumer magazine)
The Sony device came out top for general user satisfaction (76%), Kindle second (70%)

>I haven't had any issues with Gutenberg using ePub format. As for Kobo, the Kobo reader is very inexpensive too, but I've never used one, so I can't really comment.
