The claim was that there were open sales of "cocaine, marijuana, LSD, Ecstasy, hallucinogenic mushrooms, opium and marijuana-laced food at Camp Zoe in a Middle East bazaar-like atmosphere where drug vendors shouted sales pitches to passers-by". This with the promotors knowledge and, presumably, consent.

I had no idea they were even a group any more. My guess would have been they disbanded at least 30 years ago.

Now here is a truly horrible musical anecdote. This week I was up in Madison visiting my GF for a couple of days. On Wednesday evenings during mid summer the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra gives free concerts outside the capitol. Very cool. What I did not realize is that the summer concerts are with guest artists, with the WCO in the background if this one was any indication. (Their more classical classical concerts are at the fabulous Capitol Theater, a short walk away). And who do you suppose the guest artists were this week? If I said Abba many here would probably groan. Well, this was worse. It was an Abba tribute band called Arrival. We were assured at the beginning that all 12 or so of them on stage, including backing vocalists and dancers/handclappers, were Swedish. Every last vun! The patter between songs was so wooden I suspected at times it was tongue in cheek, but they sure seemed earnest. "OK, here is another one!" "It would be great if everyone would get up and dance and clap their hands!" There may have been a few genuine fans of Abba and other 70s pop music there but I am sure many more of us were there 99% for the atmosphere. Which was very cool. The Capitol building as the backdrop, a warm -- OK, hot -- summer night, the sun setting, lots of energy in the crowd, as there generally is in Mad Town. I don't regret the experience but did it really have to be an Abba tribute band?

Now I am going to do something evil, LOL --

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again?
My my, just how much I've missed you
Yes, I've been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go?
Mamma mia, now I really know,
My my, I could never let you go.
