No surprise. Virtually everything worth mentioning was invented in Canada.

You may be amused to hear that at least one newspaper in the upper midwest, the Wisconsin State Journal, blamed the current heat wave (somewhat abated at the moment) on Canada. They said the normal cooling front was bottled up north of the border. Ya, go ahead, keep the cool air to yourselves and roast our heinies off. It's a good thing you're all so nice.
