I do like to read, and now that I have to drive to work due to the distance instead of riding a bus or a train, I can't read during that time any more, and I kind of miss it, so I try to pick my spots.


I love reading too. I always bring my Kindle along to the doctor/dentist office. But, I also love people-watching ... and I'd rather do that while waiting in line (at a store or wherever). For me, it's probably the difference between sitting while waiting vs standing in a line. <g>
