No, I haven't tried that--yet. Quite a few of the files in the project won't be found by rebuilding so would have to be added manually. It seemed like restoring from a backup made in May would rule out anything related to last Thursday's event.

I did find an entry in a Google search where someone else may have had a similar problem. He thought the message appearing at the end of the compile might have to do with creation of the type library but none of the replies offered a solution.

I also haven't tried compiling any other project. One damaged project is plenty for the moment. I also haven't reinstalled VFP... Guess that's probably the next step.
