Windows 2003 Server
I have now understood the problem. It deals about authetication and access to the destination computer disk in the domain. If I use the same syntax but with a destination that is the local disk on the server it works, i.e. it is no problem with the FoxPro command. There is no problem to use the explorer from the server to explore the destination disk (loged in as Administrator). Is it something I have to configure in the SQL server 2005 and 2008 Express in order to get it working? I have not configured the SQL 2000 server in this respect but for this server it works. When I connect to the SQL servers to do the backups I use a SQL Server authetication login (the same for all servers). This login name is not member of the domain. The Share and Security Permissions on the destination computer disk is set to include SQLServer2005MSFTEUser$SERVERNAME.
