Anectodal (sp?) evidence suggests that users (at least, mine) get really confused when they have to "leave" a form to click on a button that acts on the record they're looking at. This is how they perceive tool bars. Certainly that will fade over time, but by then we'll all be using Imacs, anyway *s*.

How much time a day do you spend moving toolbars out of the way? Now maybe if the toolbar only popped up when the RTF GotFocus() and went away in LostFocus()...
