A set of Form classes. A cApp class that has subclasses TopLevelFormApp and VFPScreenApp subclassed into a specific app. An EMail class subclassed into MAPIEmail, OutLookEmail, ccMailEmail, EudoraEmail. I just think some people read about the classic models used in OO books and say "that's nice", now what does it mean? Maybe it's just the engineer in me.

>Such as? (I realize your time is limited, but if you could throw out a couple of names?)

Marty showed Bridge. Adapter (for example providing a high level interface that would allow a system to interchangably talk to Word or Visio without worrying about the specifics of how each one Opens a document). Factory ( would let you add in diffent classes for functionality), Decorator kind of the same Factory for this.
