If people want to resent that bottom 20%, consider that they received 3.5% of all income in 2007 and paid 1.9% of all taxes, with no dividends or capital gains to help them get by.

If you feel so strongly tht the bottom 20% are paying too much, I suggest that you donate all of your income to them. There is nothing stopping you from doing so.
