Could have been, although I suspect Cochran picked it up from Jesse. Jess has been around Chicago forever (lucky us) and I can tell you he has been doing that rhyming thing since Hitler was a corporal.

Even all these years later I am amazed that Marcia Clark let Cochran get away with that glove act. It was a leather glove that had been sitting around soaked in blood for for a year or more. What happens to leather when it gets wet? Duh, it shrinks. AND O.J. was allowed to try it on himself, making a big show of it being too small. What a farce. It helped the man get away with murder.
