>>Error 1 The OutputPath property is not set for project 'Order System Business Objects EF CSharp.csproj'. Please check to make sure that you have specified a valid combination of Configuration and Platform for this project. Configuration='Debug' Platform='HPD'. This error may also appear if some other project is trying to follow a project-to-project reference to this project, this project has been unloaded or is not included in the solution, and the referencing project does not build using the same or an equivalent Configuration or Platform. >Best Regards,

Kevin,

Thanks for the reference. I had not found that one. I had tried resetting all of the build settings and the problem resolved itself. The 'HPD' was no longer listed, although it was at first.

Following the reference, I located and removed my hp's system reference as well.

I have encountered a new problem that may be related. I run expression blend, open the solution, and see both the WPF and the EF projects. I can open both of them and move freely throgh them.

Following the Jump Start directions exactly, I try to add a new data context to my Customer orders form, but when I try to select the object to databind the order as the primary business object, the EF business object project does not show in the object selector window. I think everything is correct in the VS solution, build dependencies and using statements are all correct. Looking at the user guide and the class videos they are present in the example. Only the currently selected project is offered in the 'Select object' screen to add a data context.

My original error mentions project-to-project references, and your referfence above adds
'This environment variable is added on HP machines and does impact a number of different scenarios with Visual Studio and Expression Blend.'

Any suggestions?

TIA.
