Yes, for sure.
But convenience has context.
Except for two poor souls who send me emails from their Iphones at midnight, all of our clients communicate from fixed locations and only want to do business communications from those locations.
Making mobility more convenient for them would be the equivalent of putting cruise control on a NYC taxi...
it's a nice gadget and it's really convenient in a proper context, but it's irrelevant in NYC.
Our market is the small to medium business and except for one factory floor application and a delivery application that has promise - both involving mobile users, our users have expressed zero interest in the tablet.
Many of my tech colleagues lead "virtual" lives, rarely lighting at the same place for more than a few days.
I can see how a tablet would be convenient in their context and since they have a loud voice in what's HOT, I can understand some of the clamor.
But ... "seismic?"
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
