>>Would someone like me or 90% of my clients who work primarily in one place prefer an Ipad to a notebook or a desktop?
Why?
normally I'd say that you should ask, but that won't work now. Had you asked me last week, I would have said that an iPad might be fun but wouldn't be a great deal of business use to me. Ask me today and I can see numerous ways to use an iPad with 3G and bluetooth. Bluetooth makes a lot more sense for a smartphone/iPad than it does for a notebook IMHO. The market thinks so too: Cisco's new G2 variant of its very nice 525 phone has better bluetooth so that business VOIP devices can interact more easily with mobile devices. Watch where that one goes.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
