Really? I know they both have the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor - the HD2 has a little more RAM though - 512mb vs 448mb. Interestingly I was able to get WP7 to run better on my HD2 than on the HD7 - there are a couple of youtube videos of others demonstrating the same thing.
