Depends upon where you're at because the speed limits in the USA are set by each state . On the freeways - anywhere from 55mph in Hawaii (although I don't think you'd get up to 55mph from what I've seen due to traffic) up to 80mph in some rural parts of Texas & Utah....and as of September 1, 2011 some parts of Texas will be 85mph.
