Hey, looks like it was my fault!!!!! I changed the font of some fields and forgot about the bug that sets printer's info into report. So, it got written into the report and that's why the report behaved this way.

UPDATE. Actually, may be not. Our build process removes printer environment anyway.

Update 2. That's what e-mail is saying:

I just had Tyler verify that he has the same HP printer set as Default, and when he runs this report with the same filters, he does NOT get the asterisks like I do. Therefore I don’t see how it can be the driver--this HP printer is a shared network printer. I therefore tried deleting the HP Printer on my pc, then re-adding/connecting to it. I then ran the same report in ReportManager again, and it still displays asterisks on my pc. So, I have no idea why my pc is having so many issues, but I don’t believe that it’s the driver....as a rule, our IS department always downloads the latest drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
