Well, crap.

I have been in a virtually news-free zone the past few days and had not heard that. A couple of days ago the GF sent me a YouTube clip of Jobs announcing the original Mac in 1984 in an email I read after getting home last night. I had seen it before but watched it again anyway. Now I understand why she sent it to me.

The web has surely been alive with talk about what this implies about his health. I have been quite concerned about his health since he made his first gaunt experience after a previous cancer episode a couple of years ago. In this case I am going to try to view it as a private matter and hope for the best.
