Hi friends:

I've got "InstallShield 5.0 Limited Edition" which came with VFP 9.0 and older ones.

I've got too W 7 64. Every time I try to generate an installation with COMponents the error in the image attached appears.

Till now I restart my computer with W XP SP3 and generate the installation without problems. Also I start Virtual XP Mode and get the same good result.

I've seen if I download InstallShield 2011 it works fine during 20 "trial" days and with a beat of madness a few month ago I tried to buy it from Flexera but I couldn't I don't know why. They sent me to a local reseller who tried to cut my head off with the price and he called that attempt of murder as "proposal".

But today - beautiful Sunday - before restarting my PC I thought: "Any of my great and always well-informed friends of UT must know the solution"

I must say IS 5.0 has several errors in W/ 64 but when I install 2010/11 and uninstall it they are fixed but not with COM

I read in some other forums the "isregspy" file must be downloaded and saved and I don't know what more but it doesn't arrange the problem. I think only makes to become worse.
