I spent 8 days in Toronto with the family. We did all the tourist type things:
2 Blue Jays games
Casa Loma
Royal Ontario Museum
Toronto Zoo
Ontario Science Centre
CN Tower - that glass floor is scary as hell!
Cirque du Soleil Totem
Niagara Falls

My hotel was one block away from Queen Street subway station and we took advantage of the public transit. I love going on vacation and not having a rental car.

My takes on Toronto:
Extremely culturally diverse - loved this.
People were polite but not friendly which I am on board with :)
For a big city, it was clean.
Real Estate is ridiculous and it seems poised for a bubble pop.
The underground is an amazing engineering achievement to avoid the cold of winter.
Theater prices are more expensive than New York City!

Random observations:
Locals pronounce it Toronno - leaving the second T silent.
$1 and $2 coins take getting used to.

In the last 15 months I have vacationed in Boston, New York City, and Toronto and I definitely recommend Toronto as a vacation destination.
