>>Ok, I'm confused. I thought the registry was local to the computer? If I put user settings there, how do I access it from a different computer? Do I put it in the registry on the server?

>No, registry is local to the computer, but in my case users turned out to comprehend that surprizingly quickly, as it is a standard Windows behavior; i.e. if you log on another computer for example, you don't expect the same desktop background you had on your own PC, right?
I don't think my users would get that. They don't understand now why the grids don't stay rearranged. If I put in the code to remember the arrangement, and then they go to another computer and it's messed up, they're going to think something's wrong.
Besides, wouldn't it be nice if whatever computer you went to was set up exactly how you like it?
Thanks,
