Any solid fuel. Mostly wood and corn cobs, but we occasionally throw in some garbage in.

What you see came second hand preowned, really cheap, but you can buy a new one anywhere in the range between 25 and 200 liters. As for the other equipment, there's only a couple of gauges, a sugar meter and an alcohol meter, which are both actually simple but finely calibrated buoys, and a 25ccm test tube in which it floats. And the assortment of barrels, buckets and bottles.
