What the US needs to get back to is that small government, gun owning democracy where citizens look out for themselves and there's no gubmint welfare and health spending. Just plucky pioneers hewing wood, building cabins and working in low pay call centres or on the checkout in WalMart.
Oh also that might mean its not appropriate to be spending billions on your military. Something that always seems to attract deafening silence from the zealots.
