I assume you've been to the US, so you can check what I'll say against your memory. Among all the complications in their judiciary, they have the Court of Law, Court of Something Else I Never Saw, and Food Court. As the latter was in my neighborhood, I assumed I'd see it in session at least once, but no - every time I walked through it (in sort of a disinterested hurry) they were selling the evidence to the unsuspecting general (and admiral, there being a lot of navy, marines and ultramarines in the area) public. For a while I even tried to read the local newspaper to see if there was any verdict, but to no avail.

SFRY had one, winter 1984 in Sarajevo, thank you very much. It took us years to get rid of the kitsch (remember Vučko, the skiing wolf?) they churned endlessly - couldn't find a regular notebook for kids (the paper kind) without some kind of logo on it. And Belgrade did file a candidature once or twice. Luckily, they smoked it (in Bad Serbian, that means "they BJ'd it").
