hmm, I guess the one that matters is System.Net.Mail, but I have that already. I'm targeting .net 3.5, maybe that's a difference? I also have googled and can't find any references to a built in SMTPMailer in .NET. Maybe you have this defined in code somewhere? If you right click on SMTPMailer do you have an option to "go to definition"?
