The reason I asked the question is because I can't tell you the number of people that I know that drive a Prius because it's "more environmentally friendly compared to a standard gasoline powered car". That's a bunch of crappola. It emits fewer emissions, but is not more environmentally friendly. The Prius has additional manufacturing steps and the battery must be disposed after it's dead.
I wondered if you were in the same camp.
